Due to the flooding of the Missouri River, all activities have been
switched from N.P. Dodge Park to Miller Park (30th and Redick in Florence,
1.8 miles south of I-680 on the 30th Street exit).
Celebration buttons are available at Florence merchants for $2.00 each.
Buttons allow free admission, or reduced price on events and attractions,
as well as percentage discounts with participating merchants for Saturday
only.

Send-off Celebration for the departure of "Mormon Trail Wagon
Train150Years" at Miller Park. Color Guard. Music by North High School Band,
Children'sPresentation by Florence Elementary School.
The public is invited to join
the Wagon Train anywhere along the route as it leaves Miller Park, travels
north on 30th
Street, turns west on State Street, passes theMormon Trail Center and the
Pioneer
Mormon Cemetery, and heads toward Highway36. At that point, only designated
Wagon
Train participants continue on the trek west. Travelers encouraged to dress
in pioneer
clothing.
